Yeah, parts coming in both tomorrow and Friday for the KTM though, just need hand guards now because I'm NOT buying another 1-off $85 brake lever. That's some shit.

Yeah, I don't want no piece of big bore on the MZ. I like it because it's dependable :::knock on wood::: lol... I hope that thing lasts forever. I can't find another bike I want that's as low strung.

Finally finished up. Made some hand guard sliders, installed pegs with sliders, fixed broken front axle slider, fixed ignition issue, fixed broken kill switch, installed carb catch can, new seat, and new smr front fender! Got to break it in for real this weekend. Ran into the normal issues when I first got there with the float and float needle being clogged, had a mishap with the throttle cable, and ran out of gas, but once things worked themselves out I finally got a chance to have fun.

Bike is still a little scary on pavement, I think it was because I was a little paranoid from last time. I found out I either need better brake fluid and race pads or need to bleed the system, but WOW! a LOT faster than my old 300 and this was on the tame timing. I upped my preload a bit, and got to play a little bit with the suspension with the fellas, but it's not totally dialed in. I installed my Scotts Damper, but took it off because the bracket raised the bars too high. I have to purchase a flatter 1-1/8 bar. Also didn't have the tool to install my adjustable monoshock preload adjuster, so I'll have to do it next time. Overall the bike is nasty, but I have a few more sessions to go before I am comfortable railing yet. It will do it. It was nice to not crash every three seconds too! No crashes last Sunday! Yeah!

Thanks to everyone that helped yesterday, whether it was providing insight, getting some tools, or holding the bike for me. Couple more track trips and I'll be rippin!
