      Help cutting down my exhaust

I have a M4 pipe on my 954RR, I want to cut it down to about 12inches instead of the (what seems to be) 30 inches.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions? I have a rivet gun but dont have a saw or the know how to do this...I can learn and will do everything with help!

i would recomend using a angle grinder with a cut off wheel to do the cutting, just make sure you measure it and have a straight cut so it doesn't look all jacked up, if you need a hand i could maybe help you on sat evening depending on how long they hold me hostage at work on sat!lol

I used the band saw at work..... Leave the end cap in place to hold everything in line.

when your through cutting taper the inner tube a little and re assemble... mark the front center pin hole on the exhaust on the outside of the can. then line the end strap up with the front center rivet and drill where the strap falls for center and work your way around it.

Wrap the part your keeping in tape and a soft cloth and wrap the end so it doesnt get scuffed

      need help let me know
this can be accomplished in about 1.5 hrs(taking time not to mess up)
