    For me;

    Pretty much entire mid-o schedule
A couple of days at Pitrace
Hope to try Barber or Grattan

Call me crazy but I'd like to get out and do one on my fat ass Tiger 1050.

    I think I'd learn a lot about lines/braking/body position/etc.

So what's the cheapest and easiest way to do this?
    -Are Q3's good enough?
-Do I have to safety wire my shit?
    -Do I need a 1-piece suit or can I wear textile pants/jacket?
    - Do they need to zip together?
-Anything nearby I can ride to and then to a track day and ride home?

    yes

-Do I have to safety wire my shit?
Not in the Novice group. But, safety wire for track days is pretty pretty easy. So, why not?

    -Do I need a 1-piece suit or can I wear textile pants/jacket?
    - Do they need to zip together?
Textile doesn't cut it. But, you can usually rent a suit from a track side vendor.

Putnam is 2.5 hours from Florence
NCM and Mid-O are 3 hours

    Thanks for the info!

I'd really like to try and make it on the track to gain some knowledge and skill.
