Thread: Hello hello

    Hello hello

I tried to think of a more clever title, but decided to go cliche for sake of simplicity.

Hi all, I have been lurking your forum from time to time the past few months since I moved up to Florence from Louisville to take a job with the company my brother works for about 7 months ago.. I wanted to wait till I got a bike to make an official introduction. I picked up a 07 Ninja 650R the other day, as well as some gear so now I am ready to hit the road as soon as the weather starts cooperating a little more. I rode some last summer but still consider myself a very new fresh rider and I am all ears for learning anything that may potentially save my life/a bad day in an oh shit situation. I have not taken the MSF as of now but do have plans to take that as well in the coming weeks. I am very interested in making some friends and going on some rides! I am just a few days shy of 21. If anyone is interested in showing me the ropes and roads around here, I would be more than grateful. I rode my new bike for about an hour yesterday before the weather turned and as far as I can tell it runs solid but would love if someone could give it a good look over to ensure it's mechanically sound and safe. Thanks for reading my wall of text, and I look forward to participating in the community. Stay safe!
