I rode a ninja 250 for 4 months and then went to a zx6r, same power jump, and I survived. I had an off, but it was completely not related to power. Keeping a level head and being aware of what kind of bike you are riding is the key.
That being said, in retrospect id love an sv and wish id had one as an intermediate bike between the fiddy and the zixxer simply because they look soooo funn

The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want;
i'd jump on that sv. you wont find a nicer one out there. not to mention the low end torque is highly addicting. they are very good commuters and loved to be thrashed before and after suspension upgrades. choice is yours but i wouldnt do it different if i could go back and get another bike.

+1 for repping the junkies. Don't get my wrong, I love being in a situation where I get to choose between an r6 and a drz, but its kinda stressful. Left shoulder says speed, passenger, highways, wind screen...right shoulder says responsible, off road, insurance...
What's your drz look like?
