    07 Mustang GT Premium Question/Problem

I know some of you guys are good with cars and such. I have this 07 Mustang GT and every time the oil needs to be changed it starts running like sh*t. Mis-fires and general bucking, lack of power and stuff. Oil is not low or anything silly like that, change the oil and it starts running properly again. WTF gives?!?!?!?!? Give me an old 84 small block with carbs and I can rebuild it. This bizzar crap makes no sense to me.
Quit working so hard to fit in, work hard to stand out. | If you can shoot it, race, sleep with it or eat it, then you just don't need it. | Don't let your throttle hand write a check that your ass can't cash.

You could be getting blow by... When oil begins to mix with the gas it will lower the octane and cause pre detonation and misfires... However that severe of blow by would be followed by the site of burning oil or lower oil on the stick; which you say you dont have... I would pull a few plugs and read them see how they are first... Misfires can be generated by any number of things. Since you are not burning oil, i would start and think maybe it s a coincidence you are getting this problem near the change time. Check your PCV system and inlet for oil as an indication of blow by as well. With the weather swings we have been having general maintenance can help this from happening like cleaning your MAF frequently...

Are you throwing misfire codes? How do you know its a misfire and not detonation? Or both? Have you thrown any codes at all? What modifications are done to the car? As an example > Long tubes and a tune that is properly done will shorten the life span of your o2 sensors by raising the heat cycles to cope. Bad o2 sensors can create misfires...

EDIT>>> Not trying to freak you out... I remember seeing a GT that had a similar issue, it was a broken ring land. The oil when it was new created a good seal but as it aged it lost compression... This was a rare circumstance though and wouldn't think that until you look at the plugs first ... This was also followed with heavy oil consumption

Kind of weird problem... but ford has a problem with there camshaft phazer and dirty oil, but when they go bad will not go back in most cases. But will cause what you are experiencing.

Say whaaaa?!?!? How do you figure? I was alleviating the fact that a missfire was being caused by his oil changes... Your're smoking butter...
Blow by occurs on all cars... Please explain to me how else oil would create a misfire in the car?

And please point out what I said that was false

I think the flux capacitor went bad. Look on ebay for a new one. I hear they go for cheap.
