Thanks for the info! I'd really like to try and make it on the track to gain some knowledge and skill.

Call me crazy but I'd like to get out and do one on my fat ass Tiger 1050. I think I'd learn a lot about lines/braking/body position/etc. So...

Time will tell...

I can't even remember the last time I rode. The weather of course has not helped, seems like it's pretty when I'm tied down and yucky when I'm not. This weekend may change all that. Need to find a way to regain my confidence. Right after the wreck I felt ok, ready to get right back on the bike and go....then the bike was down for months, being repaired, not legal, etc. I think I rode twice after it was fixed maybe, then it sat all winter. Not really sure how to get back where I was. :-/

Got around five hours in yesterday. Despite damp roads, the riding condition was pretty good. Rode 129 out through Hamilton, in to Indiana. Long, straight roads for miles, felt good to just go, without the concern in the corners. My downshifting is getting much much better, still haven't mastered the "blip" but I'm getting there. After that we headed to mason, found what could turn out to be some twisty roads, with the weather and it getting late they just seemed super creepy, headed home.

That's what everyone thinks these days, freinds and family think Ive lost my mind with the bike thing. But they do not know how it feels apparently. Only got to ride a few hours yesterday and the rest of the day pretty much sucked, fighting with the ex, my kids end up paying the price and feeling like I'm losing a good friend, not sure how to stop it. But I did get to ride, and I rode until I couldn't feel my fingers or my feet. A minute on the bike is better than 10 not on it.

I was asked several times so I thought I would figure this out and log it, I rode for a couple of hours on a dirt bike over the summer which in hindsight may have hindered, not helped my situation. The dirt bike takes more accelaration to take off while letting out on the clutch, the shift pattern was backwards, etc. So, if we don't count those hours...

I started riding 11/11, I rode 5 hours that first day on the 250, some of that time was spent in a parking lot though.
