yea... I used the flat surface mount. I let it sit ovet night with pressure on it...'a book, with the helmet wedged against the wall'. Hasn't come off... even during multiple downpours... even in a downpour at 120mph on the front straight at Putnam. You can see how the front portion is alittle disconnected, but the rest is tight. I mounted it on the left so that I can access it while on the throttle...

Mount it on the left side of your helmet. Use the lazer to adjust where you should mount it. I'll take a photo and send it to you if gou have an itouch or iphone...
